BDS Design Inc is a residential design firm located in Hamilton, MA. The firm specializes in custom single-family residential projects that range from small additions or renovations to full custom new homes. We offer a full range of design services from full architectural design to interior design and procurement.

Our philosophy is centered around listening to each client’s needs and working collaboratively to create beautiful, timeless homes that are sensitive to their surroundings and create a sense of happiness for the owners.

Brian D Stein, LEED AP

Owner/Principal

Brian has over 24 years of experience in high-end, custom residential design, and specializes in highly-detailed homes and coastal residences. He is skilled in all phases of design, approvals, and construction administration. He has designed homes all over New England, Florida, Ohio and Alabama.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati and a certificate in historic preservation. He has previously practiced in the firms of Hutker Architects, Miller Boehm Architects and SV Design (Siemasko + Verbridge).

Brian lives in Hamilton with his wife and three daughters. He currently serves on the Landmark School Board of Trustees. He is an active and founding member of the Hamilton Development Corporation and served as its President for 7 years. He was a member of the Hamilton Planning Board from 2010-2020, serving as Chairman the final 4 years. He previously served three years on the Hamilton Affordable Housing Trust.
